In a word, Calliope. Calliope is a powerful software solution that will allow users to create their very own personal publishing websites more popularly known as blog sites. Calliope as you might already know is what powers www.i.ph
It allows for easy yet extremely flexible customization. Upload photos in a snap, regulate individuals logging on to your site, file by category all you want. The possibilities are almost endless.
I’m extremely lucky to be part of the Calliope marketing team. As of this moment it is in the final stages of development but as you can see, it is already up and running.
Who would benefit from using Calliope? Well primarily companies who offer online services can bundle a blog feature in their sites. Calliope is poised to allow ISP’s Webhosting companies, online communities and the like to create their own blogging feature in their sites. This can be an added value for their clients. This will also help them attract new customers as the popularity of blogging continues to rise. It can also be used as an internal messaging feature within their company. Like I said, the possible applications of Calliope are near limitless.

The task at hand seems quite daunting and it would be rather easy for me to simply sneak back into my comfort zones. But I am unfazed. I feel up to the challenge. I actually look at it as a blessing, a chance to be a part of something big. No. Scrap that. This is more than that. This is an opportunity to MAKE something big.
